After the Community House Groundbreaking, everyone moved to the
annual Island Airways Memorial Day hangar party. Chef Deborah
Harwood was in charge of the extensive snacksincluding jalapeno
dogs that proved to be extra hot. A hundred and fifty people or
more had a wonderful time talking about such recent events as
the SRO Jack Cull Memorial concert, and how impressed they had
been with Bailey McDonoughs opening song. Many present enjoyed
a glass of free wine or beer, knowing the summer crowds were about
to arrive and they wouldnt have another chance to kick back
in the afternoon until after Labor Day.
