Charlevoix County Commission Meeting
The Charlevoix County Board of Commissioners met at 7:00 p.m.
on May 28, 2003. All Commissioners were present.
Motion approved the minutes of the May 14, 2003 meeting.
Tim Matchett and Kelly Martin presented the Conservation District
Annual Report.
Tom Johnson, NLEA Director, presented the Northern Lakes Economic
Alliance Annual Report.
Keith Ogden, Road Commissioner, presented the Road Commission
Annual Report. A request for trucks was referred to the Public
Safety Committee. Motion approved the Commission on Aging Multi-year
Plan.
Motion adjourned the meeting.
The Charlevoix County Board of Commissioners met at 3:00 p.m.
on June 11, 2003. Commissioners Patrick and Snyder were
absent.

Motion approved Resolution #03-035, Court Appointed Attorney
Contract renewal.
Motion approved Resolution #03-036, Sheriff's Department Computers.
The purchase of 2 new PC's. One for Boyne City and one for Beaver
Island.
Motion approved Resolution #03-037, Application for Funds. County
Probate/Family court application for funds available through the
Tribal Council.
Motion approved Resolution #03-038, PILT.
Motion approved Resolution #03-039, AAA Grant Application. This
is renewal of a grant already in place.
Motion approved Resolution #03-040, Equalization Director. Appointed
W. Thomas Wolf, Director of Equalization.
Motion approved Resolution #03-041, replacement of software assessment
program to state approved assessment software.
Motion approved Resolution #03-042, Data Sharing Agreement Amendment.
This amends the Digital Geographic Data Sharing Agreement.
Motion approved Resolution #03-043, Non-Profit Geographic Digital
Data Sharing Policy.
Motion approved Resolution #03-044, Assess 4% surcharge on telephones.
The City of East Jordan has invited the Commissioners to hold
a meeting in East Jordan. It was decided to hold their July 23,
2003 meeting in East Jordan. The September 10, 2003 meeting will
be held on Beaver Island.
Motion adjourned the meeting.
