Charlevoix County Commissioners Meeting
The Charlevoix County Board of Commissioners held their organizational meeting at 9:30 a.m. on January 8, 2003. All Commissioners were present. Commissioner Randy Frykberg was elected Chairman for a term of one year. Commissioner Victor Patrick was elected Vice-Chairman. Clerk Jane E. Brannon was appointed the Fiscal Officer.
Motion approved the placement of summaries of board minutes being placed in local newspapers for a six-month trial period. Board Liaison appointments were made.
The following meeting schedule was established.

Second Wed., monthly 3:00 p.m. Fourth Wed., monthly 7:00 p.m.
Committee of the Whole:
As necessary (no set schedule)
Personnel/Internal
Government Committee
First Wed., monthly, 3:00 p.m.
Public Safety/Judicial/Building & Grounds Committee:
First Tues., monthly, 3:00 p.m.
Motion approved the December 27, 2002 meeting minutes.
Motion adjourned the meeting at 11:10 a.m.
