Description: The first of many cruise boats for Charlevoix. A rather standard Blount Boat design, sister ships can be found at Mackinac as "Straits of Mackinac II" and Duluth as "Vista King". Bay Queen was build for shallow cruising and has a ramp that lowers from the bow.

Description: Predecessor to the orginal "Emerald Isle." After failing Coast Guard inspections Oct 4, 1954, she was taken off the run, converted to a tug and operated as such until mid-1988.

Description: Short-lived "high speed" passenger only vessel when John McGoff operated the Boat Company. She replaced the "South Shore" on the run, as SS was used for cruises in Charlevoix. Now the Anita Dee- she runs as a charter boat from Navy Pier, Chicago, not far from where the "South Shore" is berthed.

Description: Early August 2007 picture of the M/V DIAMOND JACK, formerly the EMERALD ISLE. The first ferry built especially for the Beaver Island run. Served from April 1955 to August 5, 1962. Sold to Arnold Transit and operated as a passenger/freight boat until 1982. Taken to Milwaukee as a river/harbor excursion vessel. Sold in 1991 and renamed Diamond Jack and now runs river tours out of Hart Plaza and Wyandotte, MI.
