Boodle & Bite
- October 4 : starts with an 8-mile bike ride this year (a shorter distance for youngsters) at
8 a.m. Sign up at the Island Boodle registration area (free will donation requested) and you'll be back in time for the annual Island Boodle, the 5 K Walk/Run along beautiful Paradise Bay. The Bite of Beaver Island Food Festival is then at Holy Cross Hall from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with artisans and more in the Community Center..

The Protar House - is open in the afternoon with Antje Price talking about Protar, Saint of Beaver Island from 1-3 as the start of Museum Week 2008.
The Yankee Lady B-17 touched down at the township airport just before 4 pm this Friday, July 18, being delayed during the day due to fog. The Yankee Lady will give sponsors a flight around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday the 19th and will be available for tours and flights at the Township Airport.

Pinky Lee on NPR - Beaver Island's Jenny Bousquet and Holly Keller have been playing music together for the past year, writing songs about family, love, and seasons with a folky, soulful style. Both women play guitar and mandolin while singing unique vocal harmonies. Listen to and vote for Pinky Lee on March 15, ~5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
